Forest Canopy Layer

This dataset provides a LiDAR-based classification of the forest canopy layer for selected Swiss cantons. Combining an area-based and tree-centred approach, forest areas are categorised into four canopy layering classes that differentiate between single-layered and multi-layered canopies.
